{"id":17506,"date":"2025-06-02T16:19:36","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T06:19:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stonecuttersgc.com.au\/cms\/?p=17506"},"modified":"2025-06-02T16:24:55","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T06:24:55","slug":"pace-of-play-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stonecuttersgc.com.au\/cms\/2025\/06\/pace-of-play-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Pace of Play"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2861\" src=\"https:\/\/plugin.miclub.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Pop-1-1920x701.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<p>In recent times it has become apparent that a significant proportion of members playing the course on any given day feel that the time taken to play, or the amount of time spent waiting between shots, was excessive which has negatively impacted on the enjoyment of their round.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Slow play is one of the main causes of frustration for players and we invite all members to work with us to improve this aspect of the game.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>To assist staff in managing the pace of play across the course, the club has implemented MiClub\u2019s <strong>Pace of Play<\/strong> (POP) module. (Policy &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stonecuttersgc.com.au\/cms\/pace-of-play-policy\/\">CLICK HERE<\/a>)<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The POP module works in conjunction with MiClub\u2019s MiScore digital scoring app to provide our golf operations team with a range of graphical and reporting tools including:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n\t<li>Locating players on the course<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t<li>Identify slow play issues as they arise<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t<li>Calculating expected finish times<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t<li>Using historical data to provide in depth reporting analytics<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t<li>Send push notifications during play via MiScore App<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In conjunction with the installation of the new software, the club has established a <strong>Pace of Play Policy<\/strong> which details expectations, processes and consequences in relation to round times.
