I started my golf as a Junior Cadet at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club at the age of 8.\u00a0 My pathway to junior membership began with Cadets playing 3 holes then graduating to 7 holes, 10 holes and then 18 holes under Pro Shop group in 2019.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I developed my early golf skills with coaching from Glen Haynes and Ashley Cramond before progressing to a junior membership when I was ready to compete. During this time I also joined the JNJG Juniors on the Move (JOM) program and became the Player of the year in 2019.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a junior member I participated in various local and state-level competitions events. This included playing for the Sydney West Public school team that won 2nd place in the NSW Primary school state finals. I played in many Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) tournaments and was accepted into the Western Sydney Academy of sport programs (WSAS). \u00a0Within the WSAS program I was given the honour of Golf Athlete of the Year for 2022.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have represented SRGC in Junior competitions such as Encourage Shield and Junior Pennants. \u00a0This gave me the experience to be chosen for the Eric Apperley team and the Ladies Major Pennant. \u00a0The ultimate highlight was to be part of the 2023 Golf NSW Junior Pennant Final which I played a pivotal role in securing the championship for the team.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These last few years I have constantly balanced after-school training and studies. I completed the Community Golf Instructor Course with the aim to help grow the sport and give back to the community. SRGC helped me\u00a0complete significant parts of the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards\u00a0that perfectly complimented\u00a0my athletic and academic narrative. \u00a0I used my passion for golf to fulfill the physical development and voluntary service requirements which allowed me to assist Amanda Cadle with our cadet program.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I currently work as a Juniors on the Move tournament assistant at JNJG which has helped me to familiarise myself with a high-level tournament operation and gives me an understanding of the sport’s infrastructure. \u00a0I have also worked at SRGC which helped me develop into a well-rounded and committed cart team member giving me the understanding of the day-to-day operations of the club and the skills required for good customer service.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My performances in junior golf, my strong academic record, the support of my current coaches Ian Godleman, Blake Dowd and the scholarship support from the club has enabled me to secure a US College Scholarship. \u00a0I have formally committed to Cameron University in Oklahoma to join the Aggies Women\u2019s Golf Team. \u00a0This opportunity will allow me to pursue my academic goals while competing in NCAA collegiate golf beginning in the fall of 2026.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The combined support of the SRGC Board, the Men\u2019s, Ladies\u2019, and Junior Committees, my coaches, family, and friends have been instrumental in my development. Their guidance has played a central role in shaping the next chapter of my golfing and academic journey. I am forever grateful to be surrounded by such supportive, lively and kind people and hope to return the kindness in every way I can. I am proud to call Stonecutters my home club!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
