Cart Path Works – 2^nd Hole (Amended advice)

The cart path works on the 2^nd hole has been remarked. The works are now GUR and free relief (nearest point of complete relief) is available in the General Area if your ball is on the works or your swing or stance is impeded by the works.

The penalty stakes have been repositioned on the creek side of the works. If you are taking lateral relief (point of entry) from the penalty area under penalty, you must take your penalty relief within 2 club lengths of where your ball crossed the margin. If this drop ends with your ball in the GUR you may then take free relief from the GUR.

However, if your ball is in the penalty area and your swing or stance is impeded by the works, free relief is not available. Your only relief option is under penalty (1 shot) as per Rule 17.
