Course Care

Members are reminded to ensure you repair pitch marks on greens, divots anywhere on the course and footmarks in bunkers.

Pitch marks – Please repair your pitch mark and any others in the vicinity. Don’t forget to repair your pitch mark when your ball hits the green and then comes to rest off the green.

Divots – always carry a sand bucket, always fill your divot with sand and smooth the sand over. Without delaying play, fill other unfilled divots as you progress down the hole. Don’t forget to refill your bucket at refill points.

Bunkers – Please repair damage from your shot and your foot marks both from your walk to the ball and your walk out of the bunker. Once you exit the bunker check that you have raked all your marks, if you missed anything, get back in and complete raking. If you see unrepaired marks, repair them. Please always enter bunkers from low points and return rakes to flat areas in the vicinity of entry points. Don’t perform “commando roles” and similar maneuvers to exit over high faces, exit out at low entry points only. Disturbing bunker faces dramatically increases the need for bunker maintenance and the propensity for balls to plug in the face.

Please also ensure any rubbish is placed in bins and if you come across rubbish on the course please pick it up and put it in a bin.

By taking the above steps you can play your part in ensuring the best possible course conditions for yourself and other members.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION
