                                                                         CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
                                                                Course and Grounds Working Group

Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club is seeking volunteers to form a course and grounds working group that will help present our great golf course in its best possible condition.

Working in groups and on non-competition/ corporate days, the volunteer group will assist the course staff in a range of tasks such as ….
• Tee box gardens and surrounds – weeding and mulching
• Bunker presentation
• Clubhouse gardens, driveways and car park gardening
• Maintenance of areas around course perimeter
• Clearing of debris from around the course

A majority of golf courses around Australia have golf member volunteer groups to help maintain their courses. While it helps the Club, it’s also a great way to spend time with fellow members and meet new friends. After a few hours work we plan to meet back in the clubhouse for a light meal provided by the Club

We’ve had a lot of interest in establishing this volunteer group so hopefully we’ll get a great response. We’re looking to start the program sometime in March with work undertaken on a weekly basis, but you can do as much or as little as you like.

Please note we are not restricted to non-competition days in areas that will not impact golf play and volunteer safety, so we would be able to arrange some activities to suit volunteer availability.

If you would like to be part of the volunteer group, or have any questions please forward your details, including your availability to ceo@srgc.net.au or leave you information at the club reception.
