Course Care

Posted on: 29 March

With the recent greens renovations in the final stages of completion members are reminded that the quality of our greens in the coming months will be directly affected by the care members take in properly repairing their own pitch marks and any other pitch marks they see on the greens.

With between 150 and 200 members playing on Saturday’s and 125 to 150 playing on Sunday if each member on reaching the green properly repairs 2 pitch marks each green, each green will have had between 550 and 700 pitch marks repaired over the weekend. Add to this the opportunities on mid-week competition days and members playing practice rounds and it is evident that if we take more care our greens can be the envy of others and a pleasure for members to putt on.

Your cooperation is appreciated.
