2023 SUPER SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1 RESULT REPORT

Round 1 of the 2023 Super Senior Pennant saw us travel to Castle Hill Country Club on Tuesday 25 July,2023 to take on Cabramatta. Weather was near perfect and the golf course was in top condition.
Scores were very close after nine holes with SRGC holding a slight lead of 4.5 to 3.5. Matches fluctuated over the next nine holes with three matches being decided on the 17th hole and three on the 18th. The end result was a 5.5 to 2.5 games win to SRGC.
Great start to the Competition by the Team and well played by all with wins being recorded by Les Szkirpan 5/4, Gary Richards 2/1, Martin Morrissey 2up, Robert Blackman 2/1 and Phillip Cue 1up. Bernie Balagtas also squared his match.
Next Monday 31 July,2023 we have a bye and host the other six clubs, Richmond, Penrith, Cabramatta, Cumberland, Castle Hill and Liverpool at SRGC.
