Warren Result 3-0 Win
#1 Phil/ Ahmad – Won 5-4 Welcome back to Pennants Phil Cue ! Boys took a 2 up lead early and held that until the turn , then skipping away start of back Nine closing game out on 14.
#2 Crofty/Jed – Won 6-4
Two guys hard to beat on their own turf ,when one was down in any hole the other took over ,the score didn’t really indicate how close it was early on ,but once guys saw the finish line powered over it for a comfortable win.
#3 Stewart /Ngwa Won 4-3 Got the team off to a fantastic start. Welcome Ngwa your finish game of Pennants Match Play you are now Hooked mate.

What an excellent start to the year as all six players having never played Pennants before today!
#1 Glenn/Eugene Won 4 – 3 After 4 holes the guys were two up & never really headed ,well done to Glenn for keeping a calm head out there ,I guess all those years caddying for Lia really helped Thanks to Sonia for caddying and helping Eugene with first time Pennant excitement!
# 2 Eric/Glenn – Halved Eric & Glenn were very nervous & it took a few holes for them to find their feet. This match was too & fro , we held a slender two lead up thru 12 , Wallacia squared match after 15 so it was game on ,We went 1 up at 16 then closely lost 17 , 18th was there for Wallacia to win after a fantastic approach shot from Barry’s (Wallacia) ball some 350mm from hole for a par and likely win after both Glenn & Eric’s approach shots coming up short ,Glenn sunk a good putt for Bogey 5. With both Wallacia players having Par putts and match win it came down to handling pressure. The 1st player from Wallacia with a four-foot uphill two putted ,Barry at 350mm from hole looked nervous & pulled putt to the left , Match Halved Well done Eric & Glenn.

# 3 Danny/Sugan Won 5 – 4 Even thou both guys were new to Pennants you would think so , having played together regularly they complemented each other & took an early two up lead which got out to four at the turn ,Wallacia had a mini come back at 11 & 12 ,Danny & Sugan weren’t having a bar of that and went onto close match out at 14th winning 5 -4
