Super Senior Pennant Team Round 4 Result

The Super Senior Pennant team on Friday 18 August, 2023 played Penrith at Cumberland Golf club. Weather conditions were not great for golf being very windy and a very cool wind chill factor, Three of our Team members were unavailable for this game, so the pressure was on from the start. After 9 holes SRGC was down 6 matches to 2 and needed to turn things around. To the Teams credit that they did in a nail biting finish, winning three matches on the 18th hole. The final result being a 5/3 win to SRGC.
Congratulations and well done Team. Winners were Les Szkirpan 1 up, Ray Thacker 1up, Robert Blackman 1 up, Phillip Cue 3/2 and Bob Day 2/1.
Our next game is at Richmond GC on Tuesday 22 August, 2023 against Castle Hill, the defending SSP Champions.
