Pace of Play Analysis of 29,124 Rounds Completed in 2024
The Ladies and Men’s Golf Committees have completed a Pace of Play (PoP) analysis for 29,124 rounds of golf completed in 2024. The results of the analysis have been presented to the SRGC Board of Directors and endorsed.
A summarised version of the results of the analysis is attached for your information. The analysis clearly shows that we have a serious pace of play issue and highlights that the issue is more significant than most members will realise.
The Ladies and Men’s Golf Committees have PoP as a key focus area for this year and it is our goal to have all rounds completed in under 4hrs30mins. We are currently evaluating several options that can be implemented to address the current problem and updates to members will be provided when the evaluation of these options is completed. One or more PoP solution options may be adopted.
