GOLF Link Platform Being Replaced with Golf Australia CONNECT

What is happening?

Golf Australia is undertaking a major digital transformation that includes the transition away from the 25-year-old GOLF Link platform to Golf Australia CONNECT.

Why is it needed?

The existing GOLF Link platform is 25 years old and has limited functionality for today’s golfing needs. Golf Australia need to ensure what they are providing to golf clubs and golfers is modern, secure and future-focused. 

What’s new?

  1. Golfers will be able to access their GA Handicap through a new GOLF.com.au website.
  2. Golf Australia will launch a new Golf Australia Official app. This will replace the current GA Handicap app. The new app will retain the existing handicap lookup feature and introduce a range of exciting new tools to enhance the golfer experience.

When is it happening?

On Thursday, October 2, Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia will launch: 

  • GOLF.com.au – a new, centralised digital platform combining seven legacy websites (including golf.org.au, pga.org.au and wpga.org.au) and hosting the Golf Australia Handicap portal. 
  • The Official Golf Australia App – a modern, mobile-friendly tool for golfers to access their GA Handicap, track scoring history, find tee times and lessons, follow leaderboards and more. From October 2, the new mobile app will be available via either the Apple App or Google Play stores. 

What is the impact to SRGC members?

  1. The final day of GolfLink operations will be Sun 28 Sep 25. Offline mode commences on this day. SRGC competitions will NOT have handicap changes processed for the listed days below as this is not possible in this period or able to be undertaken retrospectively after this period.
  • Tuesday 30 September
  • Thursday 2 October
  • Saturday 4 October
  • Sunday 5 October

The first day of competition where handicap changes will be processed (recommenced) will be Tuesday 7 October

  1. Members will need to complete an account verification process to access the new Golf Australia website, GOLF.com.au.
  2. Members will need to download the new Golf Australia app for GA Handicaps

The SRGC Golf Committee’s will provide instructions to access GOLF.com.au and to download the new Golf Australia App closer to their launch date of 2 October 2025.
