Important Golf Notice
Posted on: 3 November
Dear Members,
We would like to create more variety and separation in our tee placements when we play competitions. There is very little difference on some holes so it can often feel like we are playing the same course when we are playing the Blue Course or White Course. We would also like to utilise more of our tee pads.
As a result we have conducted a review of our white and green tee placements. We will be conducting a trial of these new white and green tee placements until Christmas.
Things to note for the trial:
- When we play a white course: that is white markers and nominated on the timesheet as a white course it will actually show as a green course on the Mi Club scoring app (or scorecard). Do not worry please continue to play from the white markers.
- When we play a green course: that is green markers and nominated on the time sheet as a green course it will actually show as a gold course on the Mi Club scoring app (or scorecard). Do not worry please continue to play from the green markers.
We are also reviewing the red course for the ladies with the Ladies Golf Committee. Expect an update on this in the next few weeks.
We hope you like the change and the variety, this is intended to create and as always we encourage your feedback via a survey we will be sending out to you towards the end of the trial or you can email match@srgc.net.au or please feel to have to chat to me in the club when you see me.
Regards,
Brent Young
Men’s Club Captain on behalf of the Golf Committees
