Pace of Play

Members are advised that from the weekend of 5th and 6th August some new initiatives will be introduced in an effort improve the general pace of play. A time clock will be placed on the 1st tee and the following rules introduced. All members are asked to familiarise yourselves with these rules and make them common practice.

Ready Golf Policy

  • Do not tee off before your allocated tee time.
  • No honour (except in matchplay)
  • Play your own ball before helping others look for lost balls.
  • Shorter hitters to play first.
  • Do not leave carts and buggies at the front of the green.
  • Play a provisional if there is a chance that will not find your ball.
  • If you are unable to keep up with the group in front, call the group behind through.
  • Lowest marker in the group is responsible for pace of play. Penalties may apply for slow play.
